Local Ambulance LGBT+ Networks

Each NHS Ambulance Service has a LGBT+ Network and a range of support mechanisms. In this section you can find out more about each network and how you can connect with them. Working with local networks we can also provide some information about other local services and support mechanisms.

Staff Network

Proud@SAS was established in September 2018.The Network is available to support all staff and raise the profile of LGBT issues throughout the service.

Every year the Service takes part at Pride events. In 2018 we attended Glasgow, Dundee and West Lothian events and we plan to attend similar events in 2019.

Additional Support

The contact for support is Help Employee Assistance Programme and this includes access to the Employee Counselling Service.
