Dominic.Gaffney@eastamb.nhs.uk

Dom joined North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) in 2012. He started in the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) for Cheshire and Merseyside as a 999 Call Handler. He progressed to other roles in the EOC, as a Dispatcher and Call Handling Supervisor before moving to Operations Directorate as an Emergency Medical Technician. He is currently seconded to the Clinical Hub within EOC, bringing his knowledge of Operations and EOC together to help patients.

Dom worked alongside Adam Williams to ensure that NWAS supports its staff as much as possible working with senior officers to ensure representation at recruitments events and positive action days.

Dom recently moved to East of England Ambulance Service to start his paramedic training, and continues to be an active member of the National Ambulance LGBT Network.
