National Ambulance BME Forum Conference 2019
24 October 2019
We are delighted to support the second conference for the National Ambulance BME Forum will take place on Thursday 24 October at the AmEx Stadium in Brighton.
The themes of this conference include:
- The power of staff networks
- Mental health in the BME workforce and communities
- Intersectionality
The conference is designed to build upon the conversations that we are all having within our organsiations in a response to the Workforce Race Equality Standard and is also a fantastic opportunity to meet colleagues from across the country and share best practice. .
The event is free^ to attend. Each NHS Ambulance Trust has been allocated an initial ten places and these will be allocated by your Equality and Diversity Lead. Any remaining places will be released in Mid-July r and allocated on a first come first served basis. Once the 150 places are allocated, a reserve list will be held in case of any cancellations. All participants will receive lunch, a certificate of attendance and conference pack.
^ A non-attendance fee of £50 is applicable to people who do not attend and fail the cancel their place. Demand for tickets is expected to be high and we encourage anyone who cannot attend to cancel their place as soon as possible to enable others a chance to take part.
