Lee is the Quality, Governance and Assurance Manager for North East London in the London Ambulance Service. He joined the Trust in 1993 undertaking non-emergency work before qualifying as a Paramedic in 2002.

Lee moved into a management role in 2008 and his current role has a particular focus on quality improvement within the pre-hospital care environment. He became involved in the LGBT group within the Service in 2012 and won the ‘Inclusive Leader’ category in the 2017 NHS Leadership Recognition Awards. He also co-ordinated the work to implement the Transgender Employment Policy and widened inclusivity by recruiting Straight Allies across the Trust.

Lee has been integral in organising the LAS’ involvement in London Pride and raising its profile within the organisation, making it a ‘must attend’ event for our LGBT staff and Allies.
